ITIL-omcertifiering: hur du förnyar ditt certifikat

I det Continuous Professional Development Programme som skapats av PeopleCert måste ITIL-certifieringar förnyas inom tre år från certifikatets tilldelningsdatum.

När måste jag förnya min ITIL-certifiering?

Kandidater måste uppdatera sin ITIL-certifiering inom tre år från utfärdandedatumet.

Hur kan jag förnya min ITIL-certifiering?

Du kan välja mellan olika sätt att underhålla ditt ITIL-certifikat.

  • Du kan göra om samma ITIL-examen före utgångsdatumet.
  • Du kan ta ytterligare kurser och certifieringar, men dessa måste ingå i samma produktsvit/familj som den certifiering som ska förnyas. Det innebär att för att förnya ett ITIL-certifikat måste du göra ett nytt ITIL-prov i ITIL 4-certifieringssystemet.
  • Du kan upprätthålla din certifiering genom att samla in och logga CPD-poäng genom CPD-programmet. Läs mer om Continuous Professional Development programme.

Vad händer om jag inte förnyar min ITIL-certifiering i tid?

ITIL-omcertifiering: Vilket prov kan jag ta för att förnya mitt certifikat?

Om du bestämmer dig för att förnya ditt ITIL-certifikat genom att ta en annan kurs och ett annat prov, bör du ta ett prov inom samma produktsvit. Det innebär att du inte kan uppdatera ditt ITIL-certifikat genom att till exempel ta en PRINCE2®-examen.

ITIL® 4 Product Suite omfattar alla ITIL® 4-certifieringar.

Vad händer om jag måste förnya mer än en ITIL-certifiering?

Om du har mer än ett ITIL-certifikat kommer det första certifikatet att få samma förnyelsedatum som det senaste ITIL-certifikatet du erhöll. Detta innebär att om du har mer än en certifiering i samma produktsvit kommer de att ha samma förnyelsedatum.

Om du till exempel erhöll ett ITIL 4 Foundation-certifikat i december 2022 och ett annat ITIL 4 Managing Professional-certifikat i januari 2023, kommer båda certifikaten att löpa ut i januari 2026, så det räcker att ta och klara bara ett prov för att behålla båda.

Måste ITIL v3-certifieringar förnyas?

Nej, eftersom ITIL v3-certifieringssystemet har dragits tillbaka från och med den1 januari 2023 kan underhållsprocessen inte tillämpas på det. Du måste börja resan mot ITIL 4.

With the purchase of e-learning packages with 30 days and 1 year of duration, exam doesn’t have to be necessarily taken within the closing date of the account on the e-learning platform. The validity of the exam voucher code is 12 months starting from the issue date.

During the purchase process it is possible to register data and details of each participant. 

The activation date of the package can be selected during the purchase process on our website. The days of access to the course, indicated in the title of the product, will be calculated starting from the selected date. Payment must be completed before the activation date.

30 days, 120d or 1 year are to be considered as the period, so the days, during which it is possible to access the purchased training courses on our e-learning platform. These periods start on the activation date selected during the purchase process on our webiste. The activation date can be chosen and selected within 30 days from the purchase date. If you need more flexibility, do not hesitate to contact us.  

The main difference between these packages, beyond the duration of access, is that the 30 days and 1 year packages include the exam, while the 120 days package does not include the exam.

Exam voucher code is usually issued at the activation of the e-learning course, anyway it can also be issued at the end of the e-learning course of sent after 24/48 hours from the order date. In case of purchase for exam only, exam voucher code is issued at purchase confirmation, always after the receipt of payment.
