What is ITIL® 4 Practice Manager?
ITIL® 4 Practice Manager is a new qualification level within the modular ITIL 4 scheme, at the same level as the ITIL® 4 Managing Professional and ITIL® 4 Strategic Leader streams. It includes three groups of certifications (batches): ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil, ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control, and ITIL 4 Specialist: Collaborate, Assure and Improve. Each batch contains five different ITIL 4 Practices, each of which has been assigned a specific ITIL 4 Practitioner exam.

What is ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil?
ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil is the first batch of the ITIL 4 Practice Manager stream to be released. It includes five individual practices:
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Incident Management
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Monitoring and Event Management
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Problem Management
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Desk
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Request Management
Students can choose to take one or more individual ITIL 4 Practitioner exams, or they can opt for the ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil Combined exam, which combines all the content of its five individual ITIL 4 Practitioner exams into a single exam.
How to obtain the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil certification?
To obtain the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil certification, it is sufficient to complete the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil Combined exam. Alternatively, by completing the individual five ITIL 4 Practitioner exams within the batch, you will obtain the respective certificate for each exam passed (ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Desk certificate, ITIL 4 Practitioner: Incident Management certificate, etc.).

To obtain the ITIL 4 Practice Manager qualification, in addition to completing the ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil batch (or, when available, ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control and ITIL 4 Specialist: Collaborate, Assure and Improve), candidates must also obtain the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support certification.
Are ITIL® 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil and ITIL® 4 Practice Manager mandatory to finish the ITIL 4 scheme?
Holding the ITIL® 4 Practice Manager qualification, along with the ITIL 4 Managing Professional and ITIL 4 Strategic Leader qualifications, is mandatory to complete the entire ITIL 4 scheme. Once all three qualifications have been obtained, the ITIL 4 scheme will be completed, and it will be possible to apply for the ITIL 4 Master qualification.
