Exploring ITIL® 4: Understanding the ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control Certification
What is ITIL® 4 Plan, Implement and Control?
ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control (ITIL 4 PIC) is the second batch of the ITIL 4 Practice Manager stream to be released. It includes five individual practices:
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Change Enablement exam
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Deployment Management exam
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Release Management exam
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: IT Asset Management exam
- ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Configuration Management exam
How to obtain the ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control qualification?
To earn the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement, and Control certification, you can simply pass the Combined ITIL 4 Plan, Implement, and Control exam. Alternatively, if you complete all five individual ITIL 4 Practitioner exams within the program, you will receive a separate certificate for each exam successfully completed (ITIL 4 Practitioner: Change Enablement certificate, ITIL 4 Practitioner: IT Asset Management certificate, etc.).
For each of these exams, iLEARN provides the corresponding ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan Implement and Control training course with an exam included, in various modes: online self-study, remote (virtual) or classroom. iLEARN also offers ITIL Plan, Implement, and Control mock exam to help you prepare effectively for your certification journey toward ITIL 4 PIC.
And what about how to become an ITIL Practice Manager? In addition to completing the ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control batch (or ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil ITIL 4 Specialist: Collaborate, Assure and Improve modules), students must also obtain the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support certification.
Are ITIL 4 Specialist: Plan, Implement and Control and ITIL 4 Practice Manager mandatory to complete the ITIL 4 scheme?
To complete the full ITIL 4 scheme, it's essential to possess the ITIL 4 Practice Manager qualification in addition to the ITIL 4 Managing Professional and ITIL 4 Strategic Leader qualifications. Once these three qualifications are attained, you can finalize the ITIL 4 scheme, enabling eligibility for the prestigious ITIL 4 Master qualification.
