Compatible browsers
Videos and therefore courses are compatible with the following browsers:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Opera
- Internet Explorer 9, but only after installing a plugin available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/webmmf
The optimal behavious is with Chrome.
Access to the course
The list of the available courses is presented immediately after login. To access a course simply press PLAY icons corresponding to the desired course. If the PLAY icon is not present or not working and you have no doubt about your privilege to access the course, please contact the support as described in this Help.
The list of courses is also available by means of the Courses Function in the top right menu.
Lesson use
The lessons contain a teaching video synched with slides and other material. To access it simply press with mouse on the link to the desired lesson. Doing so the introduction page is presented and, from it, access to the contents by means of the PLAY icon. Once pressed the platform drives you to the content, divided in three windows: video, slide and document.
It is possible to play, pause or stop the video with corresponding buttons. It is possible to jump to the next slide with Next and Previous buttons.
Different views of the contents are available:
- Slide view (emphasizing the slides window);
- Video view (emphasizing the video window);
- Document view (emphasizing the document window).
Finally, to exit the lesson, simply press the EXIT icon.
Please, note that the lesson is recorded as done in the course progress bar even if the video was partially played and therefore viewed.
Exercises use
Accessing the exercise is easy by the direct link. The exercise solution can be found in the Lesson Material. For optimal educational results, please do as follows:
- supply your answer without reading the solution;
- read the suggested solution;
- if everything is clear exit the exercise;
- in case of doubts, please add your suggested solution as an exercise attachment and send a message to the "teachers" user (to do so, see also the "Use of the Messages function” later in this help).
Certification exam simulation
If available the exam sample papers which simulate the exam are present as an exercise of the "Exam preparation” lesson.
Personal profile and password change (Profile function)
The Profile function, available in the right menu, enables to show and change some personal user preferences. To change the information use the EDIT command. This function also enables to change the password used to access the system, by means of the CHANGE PASSWORD command.
News and information (Forum function)
Several forums may be available, a general one with news concerning all the courses and others dedicated to the specific courses. The list of forums is available with the Forum function in the right menu. From the list, access the desired one.
For students, forums can be used to access to information. In case of need of teaching support, please use the previously described Messages function.
Teaching support
The Learning Management System and its course are monitored by accredited teachers, always available to support in case of need. To access their support, simply use the previously described Messages function. Otherwise, you can simply send an email to teachers@innovativegroup.eu.
Standard response times, although not guaranteed, are of 24 hours during working days.
