MOP PRACTITIONER
MoP Practitioner is the advanced level of certification in the PRINCE2 Portfolio Management pathway.
Portfolio Management (MoP®) helps organisations to take decisions on the right changes to make to their way of doing business. The changes are then realized through programmes and projects.
MOP PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
The MoP Practitioner certification is automatically achieved after passing the MoP Practitioner exam. The MoP Practitioner course provides an optimal preparation to pass the exam and, therefore, to obtain the certification.
MOP PRACTITIONER COURSE
MoP Practitioner course allows participants to understand how to apply and customize the method MoP.
The course prepares the participants for the exam MoP Practitioner.

Objectives
The aim of the course is to ensure that the participants reach a level of knowledge that will enable them to understand how to apply and personalise the guidelines provided by MoP to their own organisation.
Who it is aimed at
- Those involved in a wide number of roles in the field of Portfolio Management;
- Those who are involved in the selection and creation of business change initiatives, for example: members of the Management Committee, Senior Management, managers of business change and the benefits reaped from those changes, those responsible for programmes and projects, those responsible for drafting business cases and project evaluators.
Contents
All the content of the Foundation course are resumed:
- Creating, sustaining and measuring change;
- The strategic and organisational context;
- The principles of portfolio management;
- The cycle of definition of the portfolio;
- The cycle of creating the portfolio;
- Roles and documents.
Prerequisites
To take part to the MoP Practitioner course, candidates must have MoP Foundation certification.
To be able to take the exam, it's required to have read and accepted the terms and conditions of the examination institute. The acceptance of such terms and conditions will have to be confirmed when taking the exam.
Duration
- Classroom/distant course duration: 2 days
- Classroom/distant Full (Found+Pract) course duration: 5 days
- Self-study course duration: 12 months available to download the self-study material

- Objective testing
- 4 questions per paper with 20 marks available per question - all question items will be worth 1 mark, making the total number of marks available per paper 80
- 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) - 50%
- 3 hours duration (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
